Privacy policy
How HUDDS LLC handles personal information collected through this site, our forms and our call tracking.
Draft — not yet reviewed
This document states our intended practices in plain English so a lawyer can turn it into an enforceable policy quickly. It has not been reviewed by counsel and is not yet binding. Anything in square brackets is a decision still to be made. Do not launch the site on this text.
Placeholder draft — no effective date until counsel signs it off.
Who we are
HUDDS LLC is the controller of the personal information described here. You can reach us at hello@hudds.org, by phone on (347) 878-2231, or by post at 1704 Ocean Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11230.
What we collect
We collect only what a marketing enquiry actually needs, and we do not buy or enrich contact data from third parties.
- What you send us: name, phone, email, website and whatever you write in the message field
- Call records: if you ring a tracking number, the call is logged and [recording: to be confirmed] with notice at the start of the call
- Usage data: pages viewed, referring source and approximate location derived from IP, through our analytics provider
- Cookies and identifiers set by us and by the advertising platforms named below
Why we collect it
- To reply to you and to prepare the audit you asked for — our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry
- To measure which marketing produced which enquiry, so our own advertising is not wasted
- To meet tax, accounting and contractual record-keeping obligations
Who processes it for us
We use processors rather than selling access to anybody. The final list is fixed when the stack is wired; as things stand it is expected to be [CRM], [analytics provider], [call tracking provider], [email provider] and the advertising platforms we run campaigns on. Each is bound by a data processing agreement.
Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies run without consent. Analytics and advertising cookies fire only after you accept them, and you can change that decision at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer. [Consent banner and settings link ship with the CMS.]
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become clients: [retention period, suggested 24 months]. Client records: for the life of the engagement plus the statutory retention period. Analytics data: the shortest window the provider allows.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. Write to hello@hudds.org and we will respond inside the period the applicable law allows — 30 days unless it says otherwise. California residents have additional rights, set out on our do-not-sell page.
Children
This is a business-to-business site. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes and complaints
We will post any change on this page with a new effective date. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first at hello@hudds.org; you also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
